Military Navy Officer from 2002 to 2014, he has attended the Military Naval Academy of Leghorn, Italy, from 2002 to 2003, then sailing as contracts manager and legal advisor on major military vessels, acquiring skills, as naval architecture, engineering and navigation, particularly useful to a maritime lawyer.

Having attended the 2009-2010 LLM in maritime law at the University of Southampton, he is candidate to a PHD in Admiralty law at the same University. 

As Legal advisor and contracts manager for the Italian Navy, he has been providing legal background for any Military decision in operation, providing contracts drafting and management in order to supply the vessel with bunkers and spareparts, mostly in African ports. He has been awarded the UNIFIL and ATALANTA medals.

Qualified Avvocato (European qualified lawyer) in Italy in 2004, from 2004 to 2006 he has been practicing for Dereviziis-Diciommo’s law firm, specialized in corporate and contract law. From 2009, he has been practicing for Duca’s law firm, highly specialized in maritime law, focusing on arbitration, cargo claims, insurance.
