In 2012 she graduated from Symbiosis Law School, Pune with Honours. During the course of her undergraduate studies she has won many accolades for her excellent performance. She was designated the head of a committee to facilitate the smooth working of the Law School’s annual festival ‘Symbhav’. She has participated in many National and State level moot court competitions in her home country, receiving many certificates. She has published numerous articles in prominent Indian journals. The most noteworthy amongst them was the one titled `Socio-Legal Dimensions of Live-in Relationships-A Comparative Study in U.K, U.S.A, France and India` which got selected to be presented at a symposium hosted by Symbiosis Law School in collaboration with Public Concern for Governance Trust (PCGT).

She has interned as a legal trainee under a Supreme Court of India Senior Advocate, where she was introduced to the functioning of the apex court and other subordinate courts and tribunals. She has previously worked in a global legal company where she was in the Contracts department. She was a member of a dedicated team that reviewed and vetted commercial contracts that included engineering, procurement, construction, shipping, management, intellectual property services procurement and consultancy contracts, for a leading UK and Australian dual listed mining company. The varied nature of these contracts allowed her to expand her understanding of the nature of contracts.

She is currently working on her thesis ‘Incorporation of Charterparty terms in Sale Contracts and Bills of Lading with special emphasis on Arbitration Clauses’. The thesis is based on the perspective of the traders and cargo-owners who have shipping contracts all over the world. It focuses on the legal issues faced by traders due to incorporation of certain terms from the sale contracts in charterparties and the bills of lading and the ambiguities thereof.
