Caglan Tanriverdi commenced his career with an English provenance law firm in London in 2008. Having worked as a paralegal with this firm in London for two years, he moved to Southampton in which he received his LL.M degree in Maritime Law from the University of Southampton.

Mr Tanriverdi has substantial involvement in shipping and trade industries including admiralty, various international sale contracts (CIF, FOB, FCA, etc.), cargo claims, carriage of goods by sea, marine and non-marine insurance, ship sale and finance as well as letters of credits. 

His experience also covers resolution of domestic and international disputes in all aspects of aviation, logistics & multimodal transport, and ports & terminals.

In addition, his practice areas include domestic and international arbitration and court proceedings. He regularly provides legal advice in connection with the sectors he focuses as well as assisting national and international companies against disputes, which may arise from commercial litigation and negotiations. He is frequently called upon to negotiate and execute high volume business deals on behalf of clients. He also has experience in advising, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in variety of industries. 
 
Mr Tanriverdi also represents broad range of international and local corporates and companies, SMEs, individuals as well as financial institutions particularly shipowners, shipping companies, bankers, traders, cargo interests, underwriters, charterers, brokers, insurers/reinsurers, P&I clubs across the whole spectrum of his practice areas.
