Professor Yaodong Yu is an Associate Professor and Supervisor of LL.M Students, Law School, Shanghai Maritime University. He has extensive involvement in Aviation and Airspace, Shipping, Port & Terminals, protection of National Oceanic Interests. 

Professor Yaodong’s current research includes studies on International Law, Law of the Sea as well as Maritime Law. He has recently attended China’s Oceanic Governing Regime Reform project. He is also an arbitrator of Qingdao Arbitration Commission.

His experience also covers resolution of domestic and international arbitration in all aspects of aviation and maritime matters. Professor Yaodong has focused on Foreign Military Activities in the EEZ of P. R. China and he has submitted a report on Combating Somali Piracy.
